Social Media Coaching for Writers

I want to help you tell your story!

Social Media is part of today’s world. Promoting yourself or your books in the digital age doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

What’s in it for You

You get personalized coaching, tips, and advice about how to grow your online presence. As a writer, you need readers – and those readers need to be able to find you. If you’re an avid social media user and just want to up your game, or you’ve never even been on Facebook before, I can work with you at any level and show you the next step.

What I Bring to the Table

I’ve been an avid social media user since the days of MySpace (the early 2000s). I have worked professionally for a social media company for the past four years. I’ve maintained my own blog for over five years, and have written numerous guest posts and articles for other sites, many of them about social media.

What You Bring to the Table

Bring a desire to learn! You don’t need any previous social media know-how, but you do need a willingness to learn, practice, adjust, and take ownership of your online image.

How it Works

I offer a 30 minute initial consultation free. I want us to get to know each other. I don’t expect you to work with me or listen to my advice if you don’t like me. I also will ask you a few questions about your writing,  your social media knowledge, and what you’re looking to achieve.

After that, I charge $30 an hour. If you are local to the north Idaho/inland northwest area, I’d love to meet with you face to face. If we meet virtually, I use Skype.

I coach about how to use Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, GoodReads, and your own blog. I can walk with you step by step with getting you started, or I can provide a detailed review of your current social media presence.

What I provide is coaching: I offer detailed advice and instructions on how to manage your writerly social media. I can answer questions and show you how to do things, but I do not provide social media management services. This means that I show you what to do and how to do it (and why), but you are the one to actually do the work. I won’t start a blog, schedule Facebook posts, or pin images on Pinterest for you. I want to empower you to take control of your own social media and reach new readers!

You have a story to tell, and I want to help you master today’s technology so you can tell it! Send me a message below and let’s get started!
