It’s been a while since I’ve done any sort of intro post (like, years), and since I’ve gained at least a few new followers in that time, I thought it might be time for another one. You know, just some quick tidbits about me, so you can better understand who you’re following and decide if this was such a wise choice after all.
You can check out some other posts to learn about my all-time favorite author (Beatrix Potter), or other random things about me. There is also this post from a few years ago about who I am vs who I want to be, and is just as true today as it was in 2022.
And now, here are five other quick trivia bits about me that you may or may not care to know:
Yes, I have blue hair.
My bio picture is several years old at this point, but I still look mostly the same (hopefully). My hair is indeed still blue. I consider myself the Blue-Haired Writer Girl, and I’ve maintained this color for over ten years now. Why? Because I like it.

My favorite TV show of all time is Babylon 5.
It’s a sci-fi show from the 90s, complete with the dated hair styles and special effects. But Babylon 5 is still one of the greatest examples of storytelling, especially for a long epic tale with multiple main characters. I’ve blogged about it repeatedly, and I give it a rewatch every few years to study the writing craft.
I collect children’s books.
I especially like the older classic children’s books, to both read and collect. Oddly, I’ve never tried my hand at writing a children’s book, but I’d like to experiment with that one day.

I sell stuff online.
In addition to having my books available for sale on most of the standard places online, I also have an Etsy shop and a Ko-Fi store.
I live in an RV.
I moved last year, from a small house into a smaller stationary trailer. There were challenges living in a 100-year-old house, and there are different challenges living in a permanently-parked travel trailer. But I’m happy with my life and home, and I have a great writing spot.
So now you know more about me than you did before!
